THE CANADIAN WELL

What is it?

It is very low energy geothermal heat exchanger used to cool or heat the ventilated air in a building. This type of exchanger is particularly used for houses.

This type of innovation is also called a climatic or Provençal well.

The principle of the Canadian well is simple:

after having be captured outside the house, the air circulates in an underground conduit before being diffused inside the dwelling.

Thanks to the great inertia of the ground, the surrounding air is naturally warmed in winter and cooled in summer.

The Canadian well does not transform the energy but recovers it as it is. Little electricity is needed to recover these calories.

In a nutshell, the ground becomes a reservoir of energy that is renewed each season.
