Let's bike ! 2025-2026
Le projet Let's bike 2025-2026 a été lancé à Aschaffenburg: 30 élèves de trois nationalités se sont retrouvés pour échanger autour de cette mobilité douce. Cette année le projet regroupe trois pays européens: Allemagne - France - Belgique
November 2025, Day1 :
- Welcome time with ice-breaking games during which the students from the three countries are left together for a while.
- Presentation of home countries and towns by the Germans and the French parties (part1 only).
- Second ice-breaking activity: international dancing pairs attend a class in English, led by Salsa dance teacher.
- Group work on project 1 : international teams carry out some research on developing cycling facilities in European cities. Oral presentation by international teams is due on Day 2.
- International teams then discover the city with photos to be taken at various spots.
November 2025, DAY 2
- International students’ presentations of biking facilities in various European countries.
- French and Belgian presentations of respective schools and home towns.
- Kahoot organised by German party on the bike’s origins and history.
- International workshops to prepare green mobilty awareness campain in and out of the hosting school, due on Friday 21st.
- Conference by city administrator on evolution of bike lanes in town and challenges + Yousra and Sarah’s presentation of the Erasmus project to city administators and Mayor of Aschaffenburg.
November 2025, DAY 3
-Train trip to Frankfurt for a day’s visit, departure 9:30.
- International students’mission of the day : Each group of 4 to interview 3 passers-by on whether they think more bike lanes should be made in Frankfurt.
- Visit of some of the city highlights.
November 2025, DAY 4
Morning mission : bicycle maintenance at 8:00
- Each group of four international students is given a punctured tube. The puncture has to be found and patched. Each group has an expert who is to train the other members.
- Collaborative activity in the history lesson until 9:30.
- Cinema at 10 : A documentary by Swedish Director Fredrick GERTTEN : BIKESVSCARS
